I Pick the Tunes…

I decided to take a chance on an older album from Kasey Chambers since I really enjoyed the “Rattlin’ Bones” album. This album has some good songs as well.

Miranda consistently puts out good music and this is her latest album. I enjoyed it after the first listen.

Must have for fans of Glen Philips (Toad the Wet Sprocket), Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek), and/or Sara Watkins(Nickel Creek)

I heard one song on the KEXP “Music that Matters” podcast and I had to see what else was on the album. Love the guitar riffs and whole sound of the band. Definite throwback to Metallica / “Kill Em’ All” type music.

A little late in discovering this album but I thought it was worth a pick. The album would be so much better to me without the tracks “It’s Not OK” and “Sic Em On A Chicken” but that’s just my opinion. I think Zac Brown has an amazing voice and the harmonies are nice as well.

I am a fan of The Black Keys so I thought I should check this album out. Good stuff.
